NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING SCHOOL BOND WAIVER REQUEST
BY THE PARLIER UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given pursuant to California Education Code Section 33050 that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Parlier Unified School District (the “District”) at a regular meeting on June 9th, 2020, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as convenient, at John C. Martinez Elementary School located at 13174 E. Parlier Ave., Parlier, California. To abide by social distancing requirements, the Cafeteria/Multipurpose room will be reserved for board members, the Library will be reserved for English-speaking individuals, and Room 5 will be reserved for Spanish-speaking individuals.
The purpose of said hearing is to receive public comment regarding whether the District should apply to the State Board of Education for a waiver of the 2.96% assessed valuation bonding capacity limit for the purpose of issuing voter-approved general obligation bonds. Any interested persons may appear and be heard at the public hearing.

CON RESPECTO A LA SOLICITUD DE EXENCIÓN DE BONOS ESCOLARES
POR EL DISTRITO ESCOLAR UNIFICADO DE PARLIER
Por la presente se da aviso de conformidad con la Sección 33050 del Código de Educación de California de que la Junta de Fideicomisarios del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Parlier (el "Distrito") celebrará una audiencia pública en una reunión ordinaria el 9 de junio de 2020 a la hora 6 : 00 pm, o tan pronto como sea conveniente, en la Escuela Primaria John C. Martinez ubicada en 13174 E. Parlier Ave., Parlier, California. Para cumplir con los requisitos de distanciamiento social, la cafetería / sala de usos múltiples estará reservada para los miembros de la junta, la biblioteca estará reservada para personas de habla inglesa y la sala 5 estará reservada para personas de habla hispana.
El propósito de dicha audiencia es recibir comentarios públicos sobre si el Distrito debe solicitar a la Junta de Educación del Estado una exención del límite de capacidad de vinculación de valoración evaluada de 2.96% con el fin de emitir bonos de obligación general aprobados por los votantes.
